Johnnie Morton tests positive for steroids

Former NFL star's pre-Dynamite tests confirm anabolic steroid use...

Sherdog is reporting California State Athletic Commission Executive Officer Armando Garcia has confirmed ex-NFL star Johnnie Morton tested positive for anabolic steroids from a pre-fight urinalysis. Morton went on to lose his MMA debut to Bernard Achah by knockout in just 38 seconds.

After the bout Morton refused to take any further drug tests, causing his fight purse of $100,000 to be withheld. According to the statements Garcia gave Sherdog, Morton's first sample returned as a positive for "very elevated TE ratio, which is testosterone. And that is 83.9 -- the normal industry standard for an athlete is 6." Morton's second sample confirmed the test results.

"Right now we are waiting for the drugs of abuse test to be completed, cause now that process begins," Garcia said. "And then the 10 days are running for him to respond to the letter that I sent them. Right now the disciplinary part of this situation has not been completed because [Morton] hasn't responded to the 10 day."

Maybe he should've used that stuff that Barry Bonds used to make his head grow, then maybe he'd take a better punch.

Ha, 2 things are funny about this, First that the NFL reject as I like to call him gets his 1st fight and ******* looses and then on top of that pisses roids... and second that all you guys think that impacted him being KO'd... He just isnt a fighter... leave it at that. He is a NFL player who should really have played in the XFL if he wants to be a ****in roid freak.

My 12 fighter army is as follows:

Dan Henderson
Mac Danzig
Mirko "the man" Filipovic
Anderson Silva
Fedor and Aleks
Mark Hunt
BJ Penn
Q. Rampage Jackson
Karo Parisyan
John Fitch
Frank Shamrock

What's funny about this is that no one on this thread said he got KO'd because he took steroids or that he wouldn't have gotten KO'd if he didn't take steroids.
