San Da kickboxing?

Has anyone heard of this martial art? I am considering joining a gym/dojo that teaches San Da kickboxing and BJJ. It's actual sparring not just theory like some places. I live in NYC and there aren't many MMA schools available that teaches both striking and BJJ for a reasonable price(gym charges 1000 for the year, 600 for half).

Here is a wiki link Sanshou - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Here is the school/gym that I am think about joining: NYSANDA.COM

What do you guy think? BTW they give a free class, which I took and liked.

PS: I hope I put this in the right forum.

I've never done Sanda, but it seems pretty awesome from what I do know about it. Verygood takedowns and throws. If you did sanda and BJJ youd be a pretty well rounded fighter. Works fairly wellfor Cung le, and the takedowns I saw in videos worked on people I spar with.

Keep in mind my knowledge is limited to watching a lot of San Shou fighters, a good bit of reading on the internet and the execution of throws I learned from about a dozen videos I have seen.
