1. Jose Aldo
2. Frankie Edgar
3. Chad Mendes
4. Pat Curran
5. Ricardo Lamas
6. Patricio Freire
7. Cub Swanson
8. Dustin Poirer
9. Daniel Straus
10. Jeremy Stephens
Aldo is #1 no question.
Curran with his split with Straus drops him to #4
Edgar and Mendes are very close in my eyes, I'm not sure whom is going to be UFC champ when Aldo moves up but I'll give the nod to Edgar over Mendes out of respect and logistics. (Mendes is likely facing Aldo and he won't be winning that fight)
Lamas is at five, he beat Swanson just fought for the title and don't see much of a reason to drop up out of the top five.
Pitbull is at #6 between Straus and Curran and I don't see much in the UFC to push him out of the rankings.
Cub Swanson is at #7 I think loses to Aldo, Mendes, and Lamas and close victories over Siver and Poirer keeps me from having him top five like most others have him at.
Poirer is at #8 because he's solid and active.
Daniel Straus is at #9 it's a bit unfair but I don't think he gets another title shot for a year.
Stephens is at #10 because I believe he can defeat Cub and if that occurs he could be fighting Frankie for a vacated belt in 2015.
