Hey, That Bushido 6 Show Is Pretty Underrated

Seriously, people give Bushido's 7, 8, & 9 a lot of love, and rightfully so, but Bushido 6 was amazingly fun.

Kang beating a fool was prety fun.

Lister school's Akira Shoji and I laugh. Hey, Shoji's been given some gift decisions in his time, so I think I can laugh at him getting choked out.

Minowa submits Yvel and I laugh, again. Yvel is a guy who I have always disliked. He has talent, but he negates all of that by being a dirty fighter.

Azeredo vs Buscape freakin' ruled. Azeredo is a blast to watch, and this was a pretty nice ground war. Man, has Azeredo ever had a boring fight?

I think I like Aleks vs Morais better than Aleks vs Thompson. I know, I know, that's wrong for me to say, but man, this ruled. Hilarious stuff. Aleks needs to fight big oafs forever.

Bustamante vs Sakurai was really good. I've always been a huge Bustmante fan, so it's nice to see him kick a lil ass. I still think Dana should sign Bustamante. He'd make a solid addition to the MW division, and he'd be the surly grandfather.

Fedor vs TK is an overlooked Fedor beating. I mean, man, he brutally batter's TK for 10 minutes....what's not to love? I like my Fedor fights brutal, and this was brutal.

So, yeah, this show was swank.

Discuss.

Fedor>TK was a very brutal beating, it almost looked like Fedor felt bad twords the end. The ref let that one go longer than it should have.

Azerado fight and the Bustamante fight were both action packed and fun to watch :fight02:

I agree, it's always fun to see Yvel lose, (which he almost always does)

 Big fan of Bushido 6 as well

Fedor talking about not giving it his all, and being disappointed in his performance made me go "What?" I thought Fedor looked freakin' amazing in that fight, and he just whomped TK brutally. TK would go for subs, and Fedor would just get out. Man, Fedor, don't be so freakin' hard on yourself for that performance.

I agree that the ref let it go on a little longer than it should. It was pretty clear that TK wasn't going to win this thing and take even more damage to the face. I though it was cool when Bas was talking about his fight with Randleman. Man, Bas is freakin' awesome for gutting it out, and TK was awesome for taking his beating like a man.

lol, that was funny, Fedor nearly killed TK and he felt that he let the fans down. They say the Vegas crowds are tough.

Bushido 6 is my second favourite Bushido event (still need to see Bushdo 9 though). Three crazy good fights in Azeredo vs Firmino, Busta vs Ryuta Sakurai and Fedor vs TK, with Fedor avenging his only loss. Then you get a crazy knockout to a giant by Aleks and some fast work of opponents by Kang, Filho, Lister and Minowa.

Must have Pride FC shows out of Pride 1-26 (Not including Pride 10), GP 2000, Shockwave 2003, HW tourney 2004 and Bushido 1-8.

I. Body Blow (25)
II. Bad Blood (19)
III. Critical Countdown 2004
IV. Total Elimination 2004
V. Final Conflict 2004
VI. Shockwave 2003
VII. Armed and Ready (20)
VIII. Champ Chaos I (17)
IX. Bushido 7
X. Clash of the Titans (14)
XI. Bad To The Bone (26)
XII. Champ Chaos II (23)
XIII. GP 2000 Finals
XIV. Bushido 6
XV. Bushido 8
XVI. Bushido 1
XVII. Bushido 4
XVIII. Collision Course (13)
XIX. Beasts From The East (16)
XX. Raging Rumble (15)
XXI. Cold Fury 3 (24)
XXII. Bushido 3

You guys rip on Yvel (and he has been known to be a bitch), but you know damn well if he had any kind of ground game, he'd be a violent bag of death.

I wouldn't count him out in the near future.

IF he a had a ground game...

Seems the problem with that is, Yvel isn't that interested in mastering the ground game. He believs that he can win with his striking alone, which he can, but not against the level of competition that he was fighting in PRIDE.

His striking is very nasty, about as good as anybody in MMA, but His takedown defense is horrible, his gaurd sucks, and he has weak sub defense.

It's easy to hate the guy because he is a dirty fighter. He gouged Don Frye's eye 3 times in a fight, he would argue with the ref about restarting on the ground and i believe he spit on a ref as well. Yvel is like a heel in Wrestling, except with him it is not an act.

Some good picks, but I'd include Bushido 9, Shockwave 2004, & Shockwave 2005 to the list. It's cool that you put Bad To The Bone on there, because that was one fun show. Fedor vs Fujita was pretty great.

You guys rip on Yvel (and he has been known to be a bitch), but you know damn well if he had any kind of ground game, he'd be a violent bag of death.
I've already stated that he had talent, but yeah, he's a dirty fighter. If he wasn't such a dirty, little prick, then he'd have a steady fighting career. But because he's a cheater and a thug, he's stuck with doing nothing of note. The guy hit a freakin' ref; he's a scumbag.
