If playing dress up wasn't good for their business, they wouldn't be doing it.

The show is fun to watch but Mask is pretty annoying and Scrape looks retarted 24/7 but beside that the show is fun Punkass seems to know a lot about MMA and it is fun to see a lot of up and coming fighters.

*Note the guy who fought Cowboy in last weeks episode is fighting at Art of War 3.

More MMA on TV is a good thing. I'm not complaining. These guys are funny though, but I remember them from 97'.

I like how you get the behind the scenes look on the whole sponsorship aspect of MMA and seeing fighters' daily routines. It makes them look like normal people and I think a variety of people can relate to them which will attract more fans in the end.

Mask annoyed me at first, but he seems like a pretty good guy that means well and truly loves the sport. You gotta admit, he's doing a good job. Tapout is flippin everywhere.

Man, you nailed it. I host a talk radio program and was talking on the air about this show the other day.

The love that these guys show for the sport is unquestioned and their loyalty to the athletes that they sponsor is admirable. But that's not the issue. The way these schmucks represent themselves could set a horrible precedent for MMA. Costumes and makeup?!? Are you kidding me? But that's only half the problem. The lead guy that wears the makeup and likes to bark people's names has the social skills of a wannabe "cool dad", trying a little too hard to relate to his junior high son. Every interaction just comes off as awkward and a bit uncomfortable. To be honest, seeing these cartoon characters chat it up with some of the sports' more established fighters even makes me a little uncomfortable - embarrassed even. On the subject, here's a good drinking game: consume after every half-ass handshake/hug (which, in and of itself, doesn't even look natural). You'll be drunk within 10 minutes.

Another thing ...
What's with some of the favorable reviews of these idiots? What self-respecting MMA fan over the age of 21 would think for one second that these guys are entertaining? Easy on the praise. They're not promoting the sport out of the kindness of the hearts. Ultimately, they're promoting their brand name, which is fine. Nothing wrong with promotional enterprise. But let's hold off on the "Humanitarian of the Year" award.

True, they do support the sport and that's worth something. However, as minor as some of the show's "subtleties" may seem, they could, in the long run, be doing a disservice to MMA. The premise of the show alone is cool enough. Let's lose the pseudo pro wrestling shtick.

I agree 110%, the guys are complete fuckin clowns and they make MMA look like WWE which is not what ANYONE wants!

I like the show though.
