gracie vs Lee
 

This is actully a pritty dumb question for this forum but who would win in a fight to the death Royce Gracie or Bruce Lee.

probably Royce Gracie in his prime, i ****ing worship bruce lee and love the guy to death, but look what gracie did to all those other martial arts experts during that time. He just went in and grappled them down.

I donno how he'd kill bruce lee in an arm bar, but im sure he could break both his arms then just choke him, god knows thats his only chance.

Bruce Lee is incredibly fast and i respect him, although you guys are thinking to much of him. He has lost many fights in a stand up to guys like Chuck Norris. If he fought Royce he would get submitted.

Yeah he did lose to Chuck. Poeple say hes the best because he invented his own style of martial arts, he was incredibly fast, strong and overall had amazing physical fitness. Also because he defended Chinese martial arts when others said it was useless. But most importantly because he was a movie star. There are people in other countries who are probably just as good or better.

I think that Joyce would win, but i think that it would either be a very Quick fight (Matt Hughes vs Joyce racie), or a dec (1st ultimate fighter fight Forrest vs Stephan) it would truly be very interesting, and who would you give the odds to any way. I say if that could have ever taken place give Bruce a set of nun chaucks and call it even. lol:laugh:

I think that Bruce Lee is a good guy whos done a lot for the martial artsn world but I think he a little overrated people forget that he was an actor. Im not saying he had no skills as a fighter but he was mainly an actor. The old UFC's had a lot of good stand up fighters but the grappler would always beat the one-dimentinal stricker. I think Royce would make pritty short work of Bruce and Rickson would just destroy him.

I think Gracie would choke him out and probably pretty quickly. Bruce Lee was a great martial artist but IMO there is alot of legend inseted into his actual level of fighting ability. He never competed formally for a championship so alot of people judge him by the movies he made. You can't karate chop anyone when you're laying on your back, you can't kick your opponent if he is on your back with his arm around your neck. Of course Bruce Lee was a freak of nature when it comes to physical conditioning and I sure as hell would not want to get punched by him so please no one take my comments as dissing him. I just feel that what Gracie showed the world in the begining of the UFC was that BJJ (if practiced by a master) is probably the most dominant fighting style. BL would have been totally unaware of how to defend against it.
