i don't really get the deal with Invicta. It seems to me it's just used as a platform for Cyborg to crush cans these days, untill the UFC fill out a featherweight women's division. Shannon Knapp the owner is essentially a UFC employee, and the fight pass deal essentially makes it a UFC brand, thats where 95% of the revenue is coming from! Also seems odd that fighters like Angela Hill get cut from the UFC then go and earn a paycheck paid from the UFC. Just a weird transition period in WMMA.

Yeah it made more sense when it was an independent promotion and I was hoping it would get another TV deal. Though I should point out that Cyborg is the only actual UFC employee with Invicta. Everyone else is officially contracted with Invicta directly and not on the UFC's payroll. The purpose for sending Hill there is so she can get some experience.
