Anyone else getting completely excited reading this?

Dana will of course approach this with a "I don't give a f**k!" attitude. Good luck with that.

Mark Cuban has plenty of money to throw around, and exclusive deals are never a good bet. It's not good business moves that make you money. It's good fighters, and great fights that do.

I'm ready for the next generation of MMA fightrs to emerge.

Fedor please sign with Mark! And Mark if he signs please have him fight soon!

Top 5 Fighters:
1) Fedor Emelianenko
2) "Shogun" Rua
3) Wanderlei Silva
4) Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira
5) Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic

FIGHT PREDICTIONS (Since June 11th, 2007): 10 - 2

Cuban knows what he's doing. When he took over the Mavs they were the biggest joke in the NBA for a long time, now they are perennial powerhouses. His players love him, the Dallas fans love him, everything he does, he succeeds in a big way. This could be the best thing for MMA since the inception of PRIDE.

I think this is great for the sport. Also I believe that being able to pay mid level fighters better money will help introduce new talent. Why? Because potiential new talent won't get discouraged by the lackluster pay that fighters get paid (exception high ranked fighters). If they believe that they can possibly be able to support their family and make money without the worry of having to be part of the 1% that receive decent pay, then I think they will give it a try.

Also he touches base on promotions **cough**joe rogan**cough**.
I like this quote from the article:

Quote:
"I think it's helpful. Otherwise what we see with other organizations is better promoting of the guy that they want to win," Oshins said. "They make better comments about who's making them the big money. Whereas having Ron Kruk and his team from HDNet commentating for our events, they're not going to favor anyone because they don't really know who we're promoting on the long-term basis."

Hmm...Id love to say that this will go as far as BoDog, cause in the end Cuban is just another rich man trying to get in the hype, BUT, I see potential, hes got charisma.

Hopefuly this isnt some half assed publicity ploy and this guy really carries this thing, it would mean millions for MMA, no doubt, if he signs big names, or nurtures potential, and with the rebirth of Japanese MMA in HEROS, well have some major competition again.

And of course competition is great, I dont want to wait a month between 2 hours of MMA, and I dont want to wait 3-6 months to see my favourite fighters or fights.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DONT SCREW UP MARK!!!!

The only part I'm wary of is any involvement with Vince.

Otherwise it is great news. The other organizations are pretty lackluster (although I do like IFL). I saw a WEC match last night - a CHAMPIONSHIP match no less - that was just awful.
The commentators were just as bad.

Hopefully this will be quality stuff on the horizon.

i dont like how cuban acts in the nba games sometimes but that is his team so tough shit, but good for him of anyone who is making it harder for that ASSCLOWN dana white he who has some of the best fighters and capable of making best fights, but UFC don't use japanese fighters, and people who are not camera friendly like matt lindland instead he puts on the TUFers who are nobodies compare to fighters who has actually beaten top 10 ranked fighters. Why are people pay hard earn money to watch 5 or 6 fights a fight card where compare to pride 9 to 10 fights per card??? TUFers bitch please they have talent but not talent good enough to pay for or having them to fill up a lack luster fight card. if i want to see people get drunk off their asses and destroy a house i can watch real world on mtv. DANA WHITE IS NOT FOR MMA!!!
