Belfort vs. Zikic for Cage Rage LHW title

ELITEXC PRESENTS 'CAGE RAGE 23 -- UNBELIEVABLE' FIGHT NIGHT TO HONOR BRITISH ARMED FORCES SATURDAY, SEPT. 22, AT WEMBLEY ARENA

For Immediate Release

Fight Marks New Partnership Between ProElite's EliteXC and Cage Rage

LONDON (Sept. 13, 2007) - Serving members of the British armed forces have been given their marching orders to muster at the country's most exciting fight night -- Cage Rage at Wembley Arena on Saturday, Sept. 22.
In an unprecedented salute to the men and women that have done their country proud -- and to mark U.S.-based ProElite, Inc.'s [PELE.PK] new partnership between its mixed martial arts (MMA) live fight division, EliteXC, and Cage Rage -- military personnel will receive a 50 per cent discount on tickets purchased.
"We salute our brave men and women," said Cage Rage Promoter Andy Geer. "Having received hundreds of letters from troops in Iraq and Afghanistan -- we know just how many fans serve our country -- and wanted to give them a token of our respect."
Cage Rage has dispatched dozens of shirts, hats and other goodies to the southern Iraqi city of Basra having had an SOS from a rifleman who said the boys were running short on Cage Rage supplies.
"We will never really know just how tough life is for them out there," Geer said. "So we wanted as many troops as possible to join us for an incredible night out."
Members of the military are asked to bring their services ID to show on the night when they arrive at the venue. And what a fight night awaits -- 13 top bouts of non-stop blistering combat action. "Cage Rage 23 -- Unbelievable" promises to be one of the hottest nights in MMA history with British and two World title belts at stake.
The top of the bill sees former British Heavyweight Boxing Champion Julius Francis, who once faced Mike Tyson, take to the cage for his first MMA fight.
Paul 'Semtex' Daley aims to take the Welter Weight World title in an eagerly awaited encounter with the highly talented Mark Weir.
The legendary Vitor Belfort battles James Zikic for the World Light Heavyweight Title and Tengiz Tedoradze goes head to head with Mustapha Alturk in the battle of the British heavyweights.
Cage Rage 23 fights that are not broadcast on SHOWTIME but can be viewed via live streaming video at ProElite.com where available.

Zikic is a pretty good fighter and Vitor is Vitor so we shall see what happens.

Paul Daley is dangerous I think he destroys Weir.

VITOR BELFORT

I'm still praying for the second coming of Vitor Belfort. Hopefully the recent news of his sister's passing gives some closure to Belfort. And hey he's training at Black House with Nog and Silva, that can't hurt.

Well, there are few men in the MMA world as mentally tough as Big Nog, so hopefully hanging with him has helped Vitor out. Rolling with one of the world's best grapplers can't hurt a guy's ground game, either.
