GSP v Serra for me. Gonzaga winning wasn't exactly surprising when CC didn't look his normal self, although the WAY he won was a bit of a shocker. Serra just blew me off my seat, hands on head type of shit.

At the time it would have to be either Couture beating Sylvia or Gonzaga beating Mirko. Looking at the way they went down there is no way to seperate them. Randy just came out looking awesome. Totally out boxing Tim. I can't say I expected that at all. So a big, big shock. Mirko, I really thought he was going to be the UFC champion. Watching the way the fight went down, Gonzaga out muscled him, pushed him against the cage, took him down, stood up and just about kicked his head off of his shoulders. Prior to that, I don't really remember seeing anybody out muscle Mirko like that. Mirko out muscled Barnett and Herring for Ronald McDonald's sake. So I really wasn't expecting him to be controlled like that. I'd have to give it to Randy though. At 44 years of age, what a champion.

Now the one I enjoyed the most, probably Nick vs. Gomi. Forrest vs. Shogun is a close second. Well, maybe not so close. Nick's boxing was fantastic and that gogo at the end - Orgasmic.

Serra over GSP. I'll freely admit I gave Matt Serra no chance going into that fight going so far as to say he won't be able to reach GSP with his short stubby arms. Damn was I wrong.

I voted the same way for the same reason. Serra was shocking, but not near as shocking as Gabe's knockout of Cro Cop

I was pissed after the Rua match but then to watch my all time favorite get out struck by Keith Jardine was disappointing and to see it going to a desicsion was sad/surprising for me. I am surprised no one has mentioned
Sokoudjou/Arona but since I wasn't following Pride at the time I don't if was that big of an upset or what but a ko in under 2 minutes seems shocking to me.

Edit: I loved the GSP/Serra outcome, I was surpised but I like serra and knew he was scrappy bastard.

Not as big as Sokky vs Rog Nog.

Arona has been KO'd before, and after the Nog fight every knew Sokky had bricks. But the fact that Nog had never been KO'd before, and also by an unknown judoka, so early in the round made it worse
