People fight to make money and win titles. Right now Pride and the UFC is where the most money is in MMA and 5 of those 8 titles belong to Americans.

I guess maybe i misunderstood it. I thought it was fighter's as a whole not just those 2 organizations. Well if gsp beats hughes or bj that drops them one. And if henderson loses the rubber match 2 Kazuo Misaki. That changes some things. this should be by per capita LOL

For instance
Brazil has - 188,078,227
japan - 127,463,611
u.s.a - 298,444,215
canada - 33,098,932
croatia - 4,494,749
Holland (netherlands) - 16,491,461

I'd say holland wins it unless they clone crocop. then canada.

U.S.A. doesn't produce nearly as good as fighters as Brazil. The only league U.S.A. dominates is UFC, in PRIDE FC no American has ever been champion except Mark Coleman in a tournament way back when PRIDE was gaining fame. Brazil wins plain and simple.
First of Brazil producing twice as many fighters as U.S.A. is a completely false and unresearched statement. Secondly, yeah they created Jui Jitsu but who created wrestling? Who created boxing/kickboxing? Who created sambo? Who created Judo? Jui Jitsu isn't the only part of MMA, every country has contributed their own form of martial arts, not just Brazil. And lastly you say Mark Coleman was the only american PRIDE champion? Well I do believe Henderson is American is he not? But you knew all that already so I'll let it slide.

who cares if america has more fighters, brazil's quailty of fighters is far greater than america. There is no point in bringing judo into this debate cuz its not that effecitve in mma, america didnt create kickboxing or sambo.

Why does everyone bash judo. I guess Karo's judo hasn't helped one bit in his 15-4 record. Or when yoshida beat mark hunt. Tons of people train judo for takedown and takedown defense as well as submission's. Newton another judoka before moving to dragon ball juijitsu.
