As for Barnett I don't think it's likely. This isn't and M-1 events. They said it's too early for them to throw and event. They're just cooperating with the EX PRIDE staff. I think if Fedor and Barnett it would be HUGE.

Both fighters know how serious it is and would probably want to prepare a loooooooong time for it. It'd also porbably be promoted by M-1.

I think if we do see it, we'll see it mid 08 maybe...

It looks like Aurona will be the fight. Arona is a more legit fight and would work more to prove Fedor isn't over-rated or whatever. However I think HMC would be pretty interesting and would be good cuz japanese love that shit. I think Fedor HMC wouldn't last half a round. Round 1 tKO imo.

I think Aurona/Fedor could go to a decision, Fedor by domination.

I smell some crapola. The same crapola I usually whiffed when Pride would announce cards.
Hmm, maybe Gilbert is, but the rest of them are too you sure?

Arona is def not in the HCF. I'm not sure how many fights Aleks has with them. Hansen fought in Shooto...

Anyways, let's see what happens. A lot of the fighters were standing there in person. Looks very legit. The conference was outside SSE and the old pride staff were there.

Yea if this is true, which I doubt it is, then PRIDE is back. Sweet if it is true.

Is the former Pride employees working with M-1 a one time thing? M-1 is based in Russia right? Are M-1 planing on having more shows in Japan. Don't get me wrong this is all amazing news and I want to see this a Pride being back, but we need to see more pride faces and pride people behind the scenes also more shows in Japan, then it will really feel like Pride is back. I'm really exited by this Pride comeback.

Ishida, Sakurai, Aoki and Kawajiri?!? Fedor could fight Warpath for all I care.

I though Gilbert had a fight booked with Thompson?

Arona/Fedor still doesn't work. Since Arona fights at 205 and is coming off two ko loses.

Kind of funny how Dreamstage got 70 million from the UFC and now Fedor's crew (with all the publicity from Couture, Dana etc.) is coming over to make "the new pride". I hope M1 doesn't make the same mistakes as Pride though. Make this look legit, guys defend their belts all the time and shit like that.

Whoa, this is great news, and anything with Aoki is swankness. Throw in Fedor, Sakurai, Ishida, and Kawajiri, and you have one promising show.

Aoki is so cool that he can rock nasty ass tennis shoes with a nice suit. Dude will triangle a fool for commenting on it.

Arona can easy make heavy weight. He probably cuts something like 10-15(maybe more) lbs to fight at LHW. He also fought Fedor before in Rings. Fedor won a Unanimous decision.

Fav. Fighters
Wanderlei "The Axe Murderer" Silva
Antonio Rodrigo "Minotauro" Nogueira
Ken "You got kicked. By a kick." Shamrock

This sort of feels like the time when everyone believed that there would be a LW GP in the fall. Kind of shady
