I believe so. Fedor's legion of fans in Japan & Russia, USA will definitely tune in to watch & the haters and naysayers will also tune in to watch to see if Fedor loses. Once the Casual US fan gets wind of Fedor the "undefeated mma fighter" they'll definitely be curious and want to see what he's all about.. and hell maybe become a fan after seeing what fedor can do.
Sometimes i think us living in the US forget that just because a star / athlete isn't well known in the US doesn't mean they're not huge world wide. Take Football (soccer) for example..is hands down the world's most popular sport, yet many in the U.S. never heard of players like Lionel Messi, Ronaldinho, or Didier Drogba, to name a few... If they were to walk the streets of NYC, they won't be recognized, but anywhere else in the world..they'll get mobbed by fans and the paparazzi.
