Rogerio Nogueira to make comback at HFC's Feb Card

Taken from ShortDick

Quote:
Nogueira (12-3-1) will duel with 33-year-old Bodog Fight and TKO veteran Todd Gouwenberg (Pictures) (7-2-0) of Langley, British Columbia.
The event will take place on Feb. 1st in BC. It will be in the 205 div.

Rest of the Card:
Gegard Mousasi vs. Evangelista Santos
Thomas Schulte vs. Garett Davis
John Alessio vs. Derrick Noble
Damir Mirenic vs. Mike Pyle
Andrew Buckland vs. Dan Chambers
Solomon Hutcherson vs. Amir Rahnavardi
Myles Merola vs. Ariel Sexton
Tim Hague vs. Miodrag Petkovic
Nabil Khatib vs. Lucas Rota
Babian Cortez vs. Juan Barrantes

Wow, I can't believe no one talked about this, Lil Nog gets NO LOVE WHAT SO EVER! And that stinks. This Gouwenberg dude's coming off a 4 fight win streak. Hes relatively green but most of his fights have ended in KO. But c'mon, really, I see Lil Nog taking this one fast with a sub late in the first.

It's really nice to see Lil Nog back after he was pushed off the face of the earth.

Nogueira is the fighter that everyone forgets about and they shouldn't. He brings it and has some really fun fights especially when he faced Shogun and Nakamura.

Now what I'm hoping for is that we get Nogueira vs Cyborg soon some good old Chute Boxe vs BTT action even if Nog isn't with BTT anymore.

Don't know anything about Gouwenberg, but this should be a quick sub for Nogueira.

Gouwenberg has my support. Even though I love Noggy Smalls, Todd is the owner of the gym that I train out of and I see him all the time.

Should be a good fight, and I will be there to watch.

How long do you guys think Nog has to be in the shadows before he gets some recognition? Possibly UFC or EXC?

It can't be more than a few fights, maybe 2 or 3. He's got great boxing and great ground game. And he's a close fight away from beating the fighter considered by many to be the #1 LHW a while ago...Shogun.

He'll work his way into a bigger org.

Honestly he should've been fighting Rampage in September. Since Henderson got a title shot that defiantly should've gone to Nog and with Wanderlei in the shape he was due to the hospital and all that I have no doubt Nog murders him.

Nog gets overlooked a lot and it's real messed up since he is so fun to watch.
