Bobby Lashley Training MMA At AKA
Anyone think he'll actually make the jump to MMA this year?
EXCLUSIVE: Update On Bobby Lashley To MMA
Posted on 03/11/08 at 2:45 PM
MMAScoops has learned EXCLUSIVELY that Bobby Lashley has been training in San Jose, California at the American Kickboxing Academy for MMA.
MMAScoops has also learned EXCLUSIVELY that his WWE non-complete clause includes MMA, but it expires on 5/10, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Lashley has not decided what is next for him. He is expected to either pick MMA or TNA after his non-complete clause expires.

This guy's won 3 national championships for college wrestling, he's definitely got skills but he wouldn't be nearly as big of a draw as Brock.

nope he sure wouldn't and there were rumors circulating (thanks to one of my buddies who is into the wwe and all that) is that he left during the start up of their new wellness policy and his name has been on lists for certain steroids not to be taken as actual facts but, under the circumstances (provided his name is on certain suppliers) and well the size of the man i dunno what to think he does have a great wrestling background but men his size will never have a good ground game

The guy is a machine, i think he would probably be more successful in UFC then Lesnar if he was to join UFC. Lesnar of course will be the bigger draw though. The guy is a superb athlete and so quick for a guy his size and has incredible power and wrestling abillity.

Pass me what ever your smoking...... Lashley will never be as sucessful as Lesnar in MMA, Lesnars athelticism is what gives him so much potential but its not his freakish strength that Lashley also has but the combination of his freakish strength with the speed and agility of a man half his size , something Lashley does not have, Lashley moves alright for a guy his size but watching him move doesnt create a sense of amazement.
Basically
Strength
Lesnar = Lashley
Agility
Lesnar > Lashley
Speed
Lesnar > Lashley
Drawing Power
Lensar > Lashley
How exactly is Lashley better???

Fair enough but i feel Lashley would be a bigger success something i cant really explain why, i just think Lashley appears to be the superior athlete. Lesnar definatly stronger with out a doubt but agility and speed i feel is definatly with Bobby. I was a big fan of Lashley's speed and athletism in his time at WWE something that didnt stand out as much for me with Brock, of course it was there just not as impressive as Lashley, but his power certainly did stand out. Id probably give the intelligence to Lashley aswell.

Is this a joke??? Strength and build are the only comparisons that can be made between Brock and Lashley, I'd actually probably argue that in there current respective shapes Lashley actually may be stronger but to make a comparison on speed and agility is ridiculous, Lesnar wasnt considered an amazing athlete because of his stregth it was because of ho he moved for a guy his size, Brock is on his own level with Lashley way behind him, Lesnar was by far the most agile and quickest big man in WWE history, Lashley was considered slow even when he as there you definatly should have listened less to J.R, taalking about the blue chipper and actually watch him move he looked exactly like a guy that size should kinda slow and ungracefully, I cant even fathom how you could make such a conclusion. The only advantages that Lashley has is one that I think he did some sort of boxing while he was in the military and that he may be more commited as Lesnar has shown problems with commiting to what he wants to do for a living, and he may be smarter I dont know them so cant judge that.

No chance, Lashley is quicker! fact! J.R? i only watched Lashley in his time at Smackdown and ECW really a few times on Raw in his short time there. Ive been watching wrestling since 96-97 and the big men that stand out for speed certainly are Lashley, Brock, Taker and Umaga. Maybe your getting confused with him being the quickest wwe champion in history, they dont mean speed and agility mate
