It would be a shame to see Fedor sign with ProElite, and didn't Fedor state one of the big reasons he didn't sign with the UFC was that they didn't cater to many international fighters? I don't see a giant leap with ProElite filling that void.

Agreed, I think there is a lot more that he needs to prove before he even nears the top 10...though I think Ricco is no walk in the park. I think after Big Foot's loss to Eric Pele he is in need of a chin test and with the way he pushes forward in a fight, I think it'll be intersting to see what happens if Fedor clocks him on it...

That card would be stacked if Fedor came to EliteXC for their first show.

I actually wouldnt mind seeing Fedor in Elite. Elite will be much more flexible in terms of allowing him to be in Sambo and allowing Red Devil team members to fight as well.

While Elite doesnt have top HW's right now, signing Fedor could be a big reason for others to join. There is potential to get Barnett, Arlovski, Sylvia, CroCop, Kharitonov, Aleks, etc. Plus they already have Ricco and Antonio Silva.

This will get Fedor huge publicity being on network TV and could really put Elite into rivaling UFC if they use Fedor to draw others.

Arlovski would never come to EliteXC. He is making killer money in UFC. I doubt he would leave that just because Fedor came to EliteXC.

I much rather see Fedor fight in the UFC. I'm not sure if I want to see him in DREAM. DREAM is not a top promotion just let! The last I check all they had was a mentally broken down Cro Cop and Minowaman! Sounds compelling!

Why do you assume Elite would not match or even exceed his UFC contract money? Elite seems to have some deep pockets.

Pro Elite will be big in no time. The ufc doesn't have the only good fighters. When elite can spend a lot of money for every show they can make some of the biggest fights ever. And I would also like to see a lot more international fights like it used to be in the old days. It brings a lot more variety to the matches since there stil are differences in fight styles. Anyway elite can get Fedor a great opponent and then we hopefully arrive at a new period for mma in wich there is no more monopoly.

Maybe, but I can't see him leaving UFC. He has been trying to get back in contension for the title again and seems to do doing pretty well. I guess if he went to EliteXC they would start to build up their heavyweight division.
