HCF purchased by unknown buyer
http://mmaoverdrive.com/2008/03/25/h...een-purchased/
This is big news considering this company is home to Babalu, Lil Nog, Aleks and Loiseau to name a few.
This can turn into a real big story, depending on who the purchaser is.

very interesting. HCF has 3 guys which any org including the UFC should want badly. It will be intersting to see whether they have been bought by Pro Elite, Zuffa, Another org, or Someone new to MMA.
This is a much bigger deal than I think people will think it is.

I agree strongly.
From the looks of it, it seems like it will probably be EliteXC who have bought them. If that is so, all of a sudden the CBS card doesn't look too shabby.

Exactly I mean think about if they sign Tito, Arlovski, and Fedor all of which are possiblities. They could put together fights like.
Tito vs Frank
Tito vs Nogueira
Tito vs Babalu
Tito vs Fedor
Frank vs Lawler
Nogueira vs Babalu
Nogueira vs Fedor
Fedor vs Arlovski
Fedor vs Big Foot
Arlovski vs Big Foot
Aleks E. vs Arlovski
Aleks E. vs Big Foot
And there are plenty of other combos since Nogueira, Tito and Babalu can all fight at HW.
This would be a huge deal if it went down and Pro Elite signed some major Free Agents. With the CBS deal they could become a legit #2 since right now they need top flight talent and HCF has some of that.

Frank Vs Rogerio would be great. And I would pay some decent money to watch Aleks kill Kimbo.

Yes, the possibilities are endless, and hopefully this turns out for best.

Wow, if EXC is the buyer, then this is SUPER SUPER big for MMA and Canadian MMA.
EXC really needs to keep that ball rolling because theyre definitly becoming UFC's biggest (and pretty close) competition.

This organization seems to have lots of potential. Check out their website if you haven't already. I have tickets to the show in Gatineau this Saturday and I'm pumped! This will be my first time seeing mma in person. I've seen pro boxing 3 times in my life and the difference between watching boxing live and on tv is unbelievable, so I'm expecting this to be kind of the same thing if not even better in person. Big John McCarthy is going to be there doing the colour commentary for the show. It'll be cool to see the big guy in person.
