Yea thompson could win for sure. he has more mma experience after all. heck i can see him KOing kimbo. But this ticket stub in my pocket with 50$ kimbo by KO 1st round... i might just hold on to it just in case...

you see him KO'ing kimbo? oh cmon.. if thompson has ANY shot at all.. it's on the ground. he wouldn't even come close to KO'ing kimbo even if kimbo gave him 3 free shots

this fight it going to closely resemble the tank abbott fight.
only difference is thompson might make some horrific attempt at a takedown, which kimbo will be training to defend, and then it will only take 1 to the jaw

Thompson is the next Paul Varelans. I'm serious, his losses are more memorable than his wins, and he should be KO'ed in hilarious fashion by Kimbo.

Buuuuut after watching Thompson's last fight, and assuming he's still training with Couture, I would be working on little more than my Takedown Defense and getting back on my feet than my striking.

This would be a HUGE win for Thompson (who is still young, in good shape and has plenty of MMA years left on him). He would be a huge thing at Elite XC for beating Kimbo.

I don't think Josh is going to risk having this fight on his feet, and I don't think Kimbo has the skill to stop those takedowns like Brett Rogers. I also believe that Thompson is strong and skilled enough (never thought I would use Thompson and "skilled" in the same sentence) to keep Kimbo on his back. And Kimbo doesn't strike me as the kind of fighter that gets put on his back alot at training.

Let's not forget that even with the glass jaw, this is the TOUGHEST opponent Kimbo has had to face. Even though, on the feet it would be an easy win, I don't think Thompson is that anxious to add another KO loss to his record.

BTW, when Thompson wins, do you think Kimbo's homies will rush into the ring and shank him?
Thompson wins no matter what. He is far from a can compared to Kimbos last 2 fights!
