bodogFIGHT is finished?

I don't know about you guys but I wasn't a big fan of this organization.

Bodog Fight Likely Finished
Posted by Larry Csonka on 04.02.2008

It doesn’t look good…

It appears as if Bodog Fight is on its last legs. Bodog is a private company, but it is being reported that they lost upwards of $38-Million dollars last year. Most of the Bodog Fight employees have been let go and there are no new shows planned as they have not secured a new TV deal. The company is going to continue sponsoring some events this year. There was a small budget proposed, with hopes of rebuilding the company, but it was turned down.

They had a couple "OK" fighters, but overall they were mediocre at best. No big loss to me either. It's weird, the biggest thing that bothered me was the atmosphere of the fights. Now I love the beach, and I love ladies, especially the ones in bikinis. However, the beach, hawaiin shirts, bikini clad ladies and fighting . . . I don't know . . . it just didn't work for me.

Its kinda pathetic that for all the hype that Bodogs biggest contribution to MMA was Fedor beating up a MW.
