Pro Elite promotions coming to DVD
Technically, this has more to do with EliteXC's sister brands and their parent company, Pro Elite, but anyway:

ProElite, Inc. (Pink Sheets:PELE), a sports entertainment and media company dedicated to producing world-class mixed martial arts (MMA) events, today announced it has signed an agreement with Mill Creek Entertainment to distribute DVDs showcasing ProElite's premier global MMA brands: Rumble on the Rock, ICON Sport and Cage Rage.

No EliteXC distribution, yet, which could be because of their deal with Showtime and now CBS, but the other Pro Elite promotions have a fairly deep vault featuring name fighters. Good news for people like me, who like to spend more than they should on MMA dvds.

It's A Good Time To Be An MMA Fan
http://www.amazon.com/Rumble-Rock-Co...8292729&sr=8-2
Elite XC just put out a Rumble On THe Rock collection, 5 shows, 2 discs. Some really solid fights on there, too, like Gomi vs Penn, Penn vs Gracie, Castillo vs Charuto and Tank vs Cabbage. And, guess what, only freakin' 10 bucks. That's a steal. Not shillin', just lettin' heads know a swank deal. I am here to help my fellow MMA fans.
Speaking of Penn vs Gracie, how come peeps ignore that win for BJ? That was one of his best wins.
Discuss.

Well damn, still, great deal.
Discuss your favorite Rumble on the Rock moments, people, favorite fights, whatever. There is something beautiful about Penn beating the hell out of Gomi. I actually like Gomi way more, but man, that's a beating that will go down as one of my favorites. Post-fight, Gomi says that he wasn't expecting that scenario to happen. No shit? Gomi wants Penn to be his teacher, too. Damn, Penn humbled him for, like, a minute.
