Fedor v Couture in EliteXC???
well, it has been noted that Fedor will be fighting this summer in the states, and Randy recently said he won't fight for the UFC again, and that once the contract bullshit is done with he's going to pursue a fight with Fedor in the summer. so, the only real option is EliteXC, which we already know Fedor has been in talks with.
So, Fedor vs. Couture in EliteXC on CBS this summer?

Are you being serious? If the fight at all I am almost willing to bet everything it won't be in elite xc. It will either be the UFC or some weird M-1 promotion (maybe HDnet fight)

Fedor is done with M-1, and Couture has said he's done with the UFC. Only option left is EliteXC--since Fedor said he's fighting in the states--or Dream, or some even less known promotion... EliteXC is the most likely choice, espeically in light of the their network TV deal!

Never happen, Gary Shaw does not have PPV rights and he would need them to pay for this, odds are the UFC would muscle PPV companies to prevent this from ever happening.

I hope not, when I watch EliteXC I feel compelled to push the mute button. I simply can not stand the those idiots calling the fight. The lead guy...what his name? Why the hell does he feel he needs to be so dramatic and constantly yell into the mic. I was ready to slice his throat the other weekend.

that would be the worst mma caller around; mauro renallo... he replaced Quadros in PRIDE when PRIDE axed the fight professor for no reason. and Goldberg is a douchebag... the two of them totally drown out Quadros, the only guy who knows what the hell is actually going on in the fight!!! |

I read a recent interview with Couture where he said he'd probably sign with Affliction's new MMA promotion and HDNet:
