As much as I like Fedor I really hope Sylvia pulls this one off. Mainly because if there was any fighter that gets constantly shit on its Tim Sylvia. How many times have you heard people screaming he sucks, he's boring, he shit his pants, he got beat by 44 year old guy, why does he wear that f'ing belt all the time? STFU already. If TIm can pull off a win against Fedor I think he'll get the respect that he deserves (at least I'm hoping).

I'll be rooting for Fedor and expect him to win this one. I see it stylistically going in his favor. I respect Sylvia's game, he's good at what he does, but Fedor is better at pretty much every aspect of MMA than him, except having a long heavy jab. I can see Sylvia winning and will give him nothing but respect win or lose, because it takes balls just to get in the cage/ring especially with the #1 HW in the sport. I think he'll shit himself (again) when he's looking at Fedor across the cage/ring. :thumbsup:Joking ofcourse.:)

Fedor via armbar round 2.

Yeah.... even by himself!

the only reason he doesn't have more loses is becuase he doesn't fight many good fighters, just a bunch of cans.
Lindland, Hunt, Coleman, Nogueira, Randleman, Crocop, Goodridge... it sure sounds like a bunch of cans. Oh, wait, they're some of the best in the game, that's right!

Just because he hasn't fought in the UFC doesn't mean that he hasn't fought anybody good. In fact, he beat the current UFC HW champ twice.

Fedor is a great fighter no doubt, but lets take a quick look at your list.

Lindland - middleweight
Hunt - not top 10
Coleman - not top 10 washed up 1st gen fighter
Randleman - not top 10 1st gen fighter
The Crocop - good win
Goodridge - just plain sucks

Fedor hasn't fought anyone good in his weight class in a long time.

I'm rooting for Fedor as I'm a fan of his. However, I wouldn't be disappointed if Tim won if he fought well. I personally value a great fight over seeing a particular person win or lose. As a fan of MMA I'm just looking to watch a spectacular fight. Despite being Fedor's fan, if he loses but a good fight was put on by both fighters, I feel like I win as spectator.

Looking at this fight from a neutral perspective, Tim has more to gain from a win than Fedor does and so it would be nice to see him win if does it convincingly.
