He hardly beat the living shit out of him. Hunt was taken down and GnP'ed by Wanderlei, and Wanderlei almost subbed the guy at one point in the fight. That was a close, close fight, and really, it only made me respect Silva more. One of my favorite Axe Murderer fights.

NOT trying to say you are wrong and should change your opinion, but this states some good reasons why some of us find the decision to be controversial...

I agree with everything Damone said. But, I think the reason Hunt won that match was because he had all those knockdowns and just really looked like the aggressor in that fight, something the Japanese really take into account.

And yes Damone, I too am beginning to change my mind on the Bas/Randleman decision.
