would tito have beaten guy mezger at the war of 04

i really wish guy wouldnt have had the complications he had..it would have been interesting to see that fight..and if guy won maybe he would have gotten a re-match with the iceman..mezger did pretty well until he decided to try and trade with chuck..

thats a real hard one

guy is better then people think, that is if they only remember UFC, guy pratically man handled chuck liddell at pride, as sually chuck landed the one shot KO but up till then guy was owning and really took chuck out of his world

I just watched that DVD again last night. I think Tito would've beaten Mezger, most likely by decision. Tito seemed to be at his best with the ground and pound, he was hitting Cote with some real hard elbows throughout the fight.

yeah i feel bad for guy..he looked good against lidell and wand..who are considered 2 of the best lhw in the world..guy was holding his own against wand until wand caught him with that illegal haed butt..who knows what would have happened if the ref saw that and gave him a minute to recover..

I went with Guy here, and I'll explain why....

I think Guy would've picked Tito apart with weird angle strikes. Tito would try for the takedown, but Guy would stuff them. Rinse & repeat for 3 rounds.

I'd go with Mezger.
I honestly believe he was better than Ken during his prime.
Mezger's record seems like hes not that much of a badass, but there are VERY skilled fighters out there with bad records that don't live up to the Fighter's true skills(Like Couture and Baroni).

What ever happened to Mezger?
He was always fun to watch.
