Does Bas Rutten ever spar with Kimbo?

I know he trains Kimbo but does he actually spar with him? I would be curious to know how it would go down.

Just a thought.

Fun trivia: In danish "kamp" means "match" or "fight". So Martin Kampmann really lives up to his name.

Kimbo's still alive, right? There's your answer.

Yes, they spar, but only on the first Thursday of each month during a year where there is no leap year and only during months that aren't affected by the clocks being turned back for daylight savings time. Other than that, they roll all the time together.

Just wondering how that would go down and who has the better stand up today ofthe two. I have seen BAs holding the mitts with Kimbo and shadowboxing, but not actually sparring so was just wondering if that was something BAs would avoid.

Sparring isn't a fight. Its lighter and focuses more on bettering your technique and such. I'm sure Bas would SPAR with anybody in the world. But, Bas has said himself that even he would not want to fight Kimbo in a street fight.
