Frank Shamrocks effective return
 

I for one am impatiently awaiting Frank Shamrocks return to EliteXC contention. I honestly don't see anyone short of another "standup" fight with Cung Le standing in the way of his middleweight domination. Just wondering if anyone else sees this fighter making his way back to the top after the injury he sufferd.

im still trying to find the fight to see just how bad he got it handed to him. Anyone got a dl link?

As long as he is so stubborn. I wish he would have done the smart thing and taken lee down.

And damn he should've done just that. When he invited Le to the canvas from his back and Le wanted no part of it, Frank should taken Le from his element right there. Obviously Le was not at all comfortable with anything but kicking. And Frank fell into the hype. I consider Frank to be superior in all other areas but kicking. I really hope he comes to seek his redemtion on this one.

I thought that fight showed that Frank's stand up is a pretty solid part of his MMA arsenal. And that if he uses it in an MMA fight and not a kicboxing match he has a shot against almost anyone at 185.

I just hope he comes back and kicks whoever's ass. And eventually beats Cung in a rematch.

Frank Shamrock's usually an intelligent fighter, but he really should've tried like hell to get Cung down in their fight.

Still, Frankie's quite awesome.
