MMAWeekly World MMA Rankings Updated

Quote:

The latest MMAWeekly World MMA Rankings were released on Wednesday, April 23. This system ranks the Top 10 MMA fighters from all across the world in each of the six most widely accepted weight classes, as voted on by MMAWeekly.

We take into consideration a fighter's performance in addition to his win-loss record, head-to-head and common opponents, difficulty of opponents, and numerous other factors in what is the most comprehensive rankings system in the sport.

Fighters who are currently serving drug-related suspensions are not eligible for Top 10 consideration until they have fought one time after the completion of their suspension.

Fighters must also have competed within the past 12 months in order to be eligible for Top 10 consideration.

Overall that's a pretty decent list. I'm very surprised Gomi is not up there.
Thank you for the info yorT.

I'm assuming they took Gomi off the list awhile ago...like when he hadn't fought for over a year? :dunno: Apparently the comeback win over Ludwig wasn't impressive enough for him to crawl back in.

Wow guys that is pretty bad how did you not see Gomi.

Anyway my only real issues are that JZ's at #4, Wagnney who has lost one fight which he won it was just a crap decision to Curran is at 10, Stevenson is lower than Shaolin. Since even though Stevenson go trashed in his last fight Shaolin got beaten even worse by JZ.

Also Henderson should fall alot he hasn't done anything at MW in a long time.
