For sure, me too, but I was under the impression that Roger is focusing on Bjj more than MMA. He's also pretty old, isn't he? I'm more interested in Marcelo and Jacare's MMA careers than Roger Gracie's to be honest.

I therefore retract my previous statement

I see Jacare going much further than Roger for some reason.

Well I was gonna pick Roger Gracie for the Pick your Prospect league but then I read an interview where he said he wasn't focusing on MMA really... so idk?

Jacare is far more focused on MMA than Roger. Jacare is training with Extreme Couture While I believe Roer does some training with Renzo at hs academy before his fights but not much.

Also grappling wise the HW divison with Werdum, Nogueira, Fedor, Barnett, Gonzaga, Monson, and Pe de Pano is loaded even if Roger is better than all of them grappling they are all world class while the MW divison has a few guys Almedia, Maia, but outside of that no real world class grapplers.

I see Jacare being a top 5 MW in the world. And if he can get to the UFC before another prospect named Jake Rosholt I think he has a shot to be #1 for a while before Rosholt who is considered the best MMA prospect in MMA's short history.

wont Gracie have a good size advantage in this one, I mean isnt Yuki Kondo a 185 pounder? Roger Gracie looks to weigh like 210 or so although I have no clue about what he really weighs. This seems like another Gracie picking and choosing fights that will help them look good and match up well for them. Kondo is nowhere near what he once was, and I was never overly impressed with him to begin with.

On another note, I saw that someone mentioned Marcelo Garcia's mma career, is he actually fighting now? That would be awesome. Is he going to be at 155 or 145? Thanks.

Roger weighs maybe 220 and should defiantly cut down to LHW but he's not at a reall MMA gym so W/e

And Garcia is fighting at 170 for now and I haven't heard anything about him dropping down.

Fighting at 154 in Dream would be very tough for a guy with little MMA experience like Garcia. Although I would put money that he beats Aoki if they were to fight.

Wow, thats awesome. He seems small for a WW but we'll see. I cant wait to see how his grappling transfers to mma.

His first loss was a WW but the size didn't seem like a problem. I would agree that he's probably to small to compete at the top levels of 170 but most fighters start out their careers at a higher weight so they don't have to cut weight before their first few fights.

Also he would be murdered by the majority of the Dreams LW divison.
