Nick Diaz and his string of Bad Luck!

Wow, if ever there was a guy that had a really bad year its Nick Diaz! His victory over Gomi should have been a sign of all the good things yet to come but in the end it turned out to be the complete opposite.

First his victory over Gomi was taken away because he had pot in his system. On top of that he was suspended for 6 months.

Second, he comes back and wins a questionable decision against Aina.

Third, He then gets to fight KJ Noons, a man recently KO'd by Crazy Horse, for the EliteXC title. This was a fight we all thought Diaz would win hands down but instead we see KJ schooling him for 5 minutes. Because of the series of punches and a hard knee to the face he got cut open and the doctor had to stop it.

Fourth, He was unable to fight in the last Elite XC card because he didn't turn in his medical paper on time to the CSAC.

Last, was scheduled to fight Inoue at the next Dream event. Apparently FEG moved the fight ahead of schedule which made Shaw pull Diaz out of that fight because the date was too close to EliteXC card that Diaz was suppose fight on (of course I heard a rumor that the fight with Inoue might be back on).

My question is what will happen next to Nick Diaz? Will this bad luck streak end? Will he fight better then when he fought Aina and Noons? What are your thoughts?

It doesn't sound like bad luck, it sounds like a person who isn't taking things seriously.

If I might face a drug test, I'm not going to take drugs. If I have to turn in papers so I could fight, I'd turn them in. And if I wanted to win fights, I'd train and prepare.

I think that if he were to be a bit more responsible, he'd probably have much better "luck".

Defecato, ergo sum.
