Most complete fighter ever?
We've seen alot of evolution from the early Royce Gracie, Ken Shamrock, and Mark Coleman days to the recent days of Fedor Emelianenko, Anderson Silva, and Georges St. Pierre. It went from being a totally one dimensional to a well-rounded sport. Now I ask you: who is the most complete MMA fighter ever?
I would simply go with Fedor. The man's got an unbelievable ground game, as well as a fearful stand-up game. He beat CroCop in the standing category!
I'd say Anderson Silva as well, but I've never seen him take an opponent to the ground at will.
Honorable mention goes to Frank Shamrock.

There isn't much of an arguement here, it's obviously Fedor...
He beats the best strikers at striking (Cro Cop)
He beats the best ground fighters on the ground (Nogueira)
He can also throw people to the floor when he bullrushes them.
He can do whatever he wants.

Fedor, but that doesn't make him the best. I give that to GSP.

Obviously Fedor, and he is better than GSP, after all GSP get KTFO by Serra and submitted by Hughes, while Fedor has never lost a match, hell he hasn't even lost a round.

Well he has, if you watch the Arona fight - that could of gone either way.

I don't know, I've heard people saying that according to Ring rules he won that fight clearly, but I can't tell for sure because I don't know how those rules are, and anyway that was the beginning of his career and he has been dominant ever since .
