title fight in 2 weeks AND IM INJURED ----need advice
hey guys on may the 31st im due to fight for the total combat featherweight british title i have been preparing for months and am mentally ready and in great shape however. with less than 2 weeks left i have injured my right shoulder im struggling to throw a punch without it causing great pain

the last thing i want to do is pull out of the fight as i believe i can beat the guy im fighting and take the title what should i do ..

i was thinking rest it till the fight then take alot of pain killers but the injury is now stopping my last stages of preparation

that sucks man.see a doctor and ask him what the chances of the injury getting worse or beckoming permanent by you fighting and weigh that up with how bad it is closer to the fight date.either way you have to ask yourself which is worse a loss to a guy you could've beaten or waiting a few months to fight him fully fit.
good luck man with your decision man

Dude thats completely up to you, your trainer, and your doctor. My advice would be talk to your trainer and doctor and make sure there is not a chance of this requiring surgery or being a long term problem if you do fight. If it is , I dont think the fight is worth it.

Depends on your style, your doctors recomendation and your age, if you young dont bother risking a more severe shoulder injury aggravating it further could leave you with an injury that will plague you for life.
