Well we could start with stupid threads like this about who could beat him like he is some monster like and Anderson Silva or Fedor. Everyone hates Kimbo because he gets hyped like he is the #1 HW in the world despite the fact he has never accomplihed anything in the sport and you can say he is excalating but at his rate he'll be to old to fight before he faces a legitimate opponant, Lesnar is a guy who got hyped like crazy and is legitimatly escalating so at least he has somewhat proven he deserves some of his hype. An other reason people dislike Kimbo is that he gives MMA a bad name because he is what MMA haters think is wrong with the sport, he is a backyard street fighting thug, Lastly its beccause he does stupid ass shit like talking shit to Chuck Lidell, saying he is gonna go to his gym and kick his ass, give me a break Lidell is arguably the most dominant LHW in history and even if you dont put him at the top he's damn close, Kimbo wants to talk tough calling out top names and then goes and fights chumps, Lidell can call out who ever he wants you know damn well anyone Chuck has ever called out he would actually fight given the opportunity.

I don't think people actually hate Kimbo, they just hate the hype around him. I was watching his fight with Tank and a friend said he was the next HW champ... That's what bothers me, not Kimbo himself.

I think the one of the reasons people hate Kimbo is that he has been given a lot of publicity without earning it. He does have some natural talent, but he takes away from actual accomplished fighters who have put their time in. Should Kimbo get more press than a guy like Brandon Vera? Of course not, but he does.

IF you truly believe that Kimbo is going to be a champion, then I have some magic beans I would like to sell you.

Power? LOL!!!!!!!!!
Mark Hunt would KO Kimbo without any problem and Hunt isn't even a top ranked fighter anymore.

Power is just ONE attribute that make a good striker and striking is just ONE skill set required to be a good fighter.

Houston Alexander has plenty of “Power” and we all know how his last 2 fights turned out.
