Sherk does it and he never gasses, so it must be somewhat good?

does Sherk do the same workout? I remember seeing him incorporate some good parts of it in his workout like flipping the tire over, but some of the other ones looked silly to me.

Many football programs are going to these types of workouts too. It is similar to the kettlebell exercises where the focus is on stabilizer muscles and your core. Men's Health Magazine just did a full article on pro athletes off season. They look for work where the load shifts like throwing bags. The harder it is to hold the better the workout.

I disagree that the caveman work out is silly, coming from a small rural area growing up one thing I learned is guys that worked out alot and appeared to be very musculare where quite often out muscled by a guy I went to school with whose family hauled scrap metal, the muscle he built tossing around scrap metal was alot more functional than the gym muscles of alot of others. Alot of people who do manyal labour develop more natural and therefor functional muscle than a guy who hits the gym. Besides tha cardio aspect alone is a hell of a work out.

it's whatever works for the individual fighter. women tend to derive slightly different benefits in a slightly diff. way from men simply due to our biology and far less muscle mass to begin with.

The stations that they go through change each time. The fighter has no idea ahead of time which workouts they will be doing.

Last night was too much flashy shit for me. I don't like the cbs-production style show. Too much flash and with the dancers and busta ryhmes it was just kinda' cheesy. We want fights! Not Flash Was almost like watching a pro-wrestling event
