What if Kimbo loses?

What if the face of EliteXC loses? Afterall, there is a title fight tomorrow and no one seems to care or mention it. Everyone wants to see Kimbo. So what if he loses? Will his hype die down? Will they throw a can at him in his next fight and try to re-hype him?

Will people watch this card on CBS, get interested in MMA, and realize that Affliction and UFC have more interesting fights and/or fighters and ElitceXC dry up?

i don't think that it's all gonna ride on this fight. the mma is getting massive amounts of esposure , thanks to this fight and that's what the sport needs. at the end of the day, the more people who watch wk in and wk out, will ultimately determine the course of the sport. i really wish ufc would follow suit and put some of these live events on t.v so that the word can be spread that much further. dana white said himself that if it wasn't for the ultimate fighter t.v show , there may have not been a ufc right now.

we want this sprot to grow for all. not just for the anal retentive purists.

He won't lose this fight, Thompson is gonna go out so easy when Kimbo hits him on the button. He's gonna kill him.

Thompson has a rediculously weak chin. But I'm hoping he will pull through.

My prediction went to Sh!t...

I think it puts a big dampner on Kimbo's drawing power and on Elite XC's investment in Kimbo, Shaw calls Dana dumb for putting a green Lesnar in with Mir but Lesnar doesnt lose respect for losing to Mir while Kimbo's hype will be destroyed if he loses to a can.

I just don't understand how putting him against a guy(who was on the same card as him) that got his ass KO'd in his last fight, will build any hype...

My prediction went to Sh!t...

you gotta get your start somewhere, right? new companies can't just produce talent out of thin air. i hope they do well and get more talent aboard. that goes for all budding mma orgs.

I agree I want Thompson to win but I can't trust his chin.
