Well this is great news for MMA. The fact Elite XC are projected to doubled the number of viewers that CBS expected is a big deal.

Man I hope the next card has Tito.

think tito might start his own gig...thats what Ive been reading, somthing about 65% sure he's gonna, Forget that, lets say he is on the next elite xc card, after last sat night regardless of the casuaql viewers that tuned in....would Tito fighting on a show like the one on Sat. wouldnt that hurt his career and accomplishments????

The success in the 1st show was to be expected, the real test will be to see how many people tune in for the 2nd show. We will see.

No actually it wasn't expected. CBS expected 3 to 4 million viewers. Most people thought 2 million was a possiblity. 7.5 million is a huge number.

And Tito would bump that number IMO to 10 million. Tito is the biggest draw in MMA.

And trust me I'm sure Tito would ahve no problem fighting on Elite XC especially if he gets to fight Frank in the future.

I mean Shamrock vs Ortiz 2 on CBS would do huge huge numbers far bigger than 7.5 million.

Edit - And No way it hurts his legacy. Tito would bring some legitamacy to Elite XC.

I watched the whole show, but only to see how bad it would be. I wonder how many people who watched it were satisfied with the show.

obviously your a Tito fan...i would love to watch Frank beat the shit out of Tito but I'm really not sure your gonna see it. Tito has been seriously considering starting is own MMA promotion....remember the ace up Tito's sleeve is Jenna she's a great business woman.......grant it she's been rode real hard and put up wet....but Tito takin business advice from the mouth of Jenna Jameson...awesome!!!! I really hope he starts this promo and it fails....why??? Cuz he should focus on fighting and start a promo in his future when he doesnt fight.....what is he gonna fight for the company he owns...no way double standard....it will be interesting to see what Tito eventually does..i agree tho Frank vs. Tito 2 would be awesome.....

I'm not a Tito fan don't like him much at all really. But look at the PPV buys when Tito is involved in a UFC event they skyrocket. You put him on free TV which has been done once before you get huge ratings. 5.7 Million on Spike TV that's crazy especially when you consider he had just beaten the crap out of his opponent a fight before.

Tito is the biggest draw or at least the 2nd biggest behind Chuck Liddell in MMA.

I beg to differ I think Lidell and Couture are both much bigger draws than Tito

The biggest name draw in MMA though is UFC.

Tito draws huge numbers when he's on a PPV far bigger than Couture I can go get the numbers if I need to but he does. Him and Liddell are close as draws and it's hard to tell because they bring in the biggest numbers when they fight against each other.

Look at what Randy vs Chuck 1,2,and 3 did and then look at what Tito and Chuck 1 and 2 did and then tell me Randy is a bigger draw.
