PPVs and Undercard fights

throughout my whole life, ive never gotten a chance to get a cable that allows me to purchase PPV. i only had a basic cable which has under 100 channels

well my question is this! did Pride FC PPVs showed their whole event which includes undercard fights? unlike UFC?

i mean i really dont understand why doesnt UFC show all the fights... people pay for it and they dont get to watch the all the fights and some of the undercard fights are very good and in fact, some makes the fight of the day.

my assumption is that they have to pay more money to network? or whatever for the more air time. am i right?

i believe HDNet showed whole event of DREAM 3 n Yarennoka

I think the only thing the UFC can say is that they show the undercard fights free on UFC.COM (I think)

Actually its 99 cents a fight on their website.

To answer the OP, its because the UFC wants to make as much money as possible. While I can't REALLY blame them, it is annoying that we get to see all of DREAM but only 5 fights of the UFC. I don't think it will ever change so I don't really think there is any reason to hope it changes.

that's so dumb though... fans pay PPV for the event but dont get to see the WHOLE event.. if they do show the whole event then UFC will be able to get some exposure some their UPCOMING fighters who didnt get a chance to prove themselves for the fans

i remember Arlovski's last fight in the UFC was on the undercard... WTF?!?

if you want to get the whole card you would have to pay alot more. The reason the ufc doesnt show it is because they have to buy airtime for mainevent. if they had more airtime to show all the fights then there costs would increase alot. this would result in much higher ppv prices.

though i do agree the ufc has great talent and there are now alot of good fights on the undercard.

btw one more thing you pay for the maincard not the undercard, and undercard fights are a bonus
