I actually seen this move in one of the Instructional videos not 100% sure by whom, but i think it was one of the Gracies.
Tried it in class and got triangled every time i tried it

The minute you "step back" like the video shows you are bound to get triangled. Plus there's no need to step back like that anyways. Plant your hand (like he shows), pivot and stuff the guard.
