Gary Shaw being ousted from Pro Elite?

CBS also fast tracked EliteXC's return to network television to July (as opposed to the October date preferred by ProElite) after reportedly selling out its commercial inventory for the 5/31 show.

What do you guys think of this? I honestly don't know right now but a positive out of this is that we won't have to hear Gary run his mouth anymore about Kimbo.

This is awesome! Shaw is the only thing wrong with EXC imo.

Theoretically ProElite can prevent CBS from expanding it's influence through stock by splitting the stocks, but I doubt that would happen. I'm not sure about Shaw one way or the other but I think a major network taking controlling interest in an MMA organization can only be good for the sport so long as they remember that it is a legitimate sport not entertainment.

I'll only get exited about this when we know how might replace Gary Shaw. I think Gary Shaw is bad for MMA but there are worse. He could be replaced by an even bigger Kimbo fan who think they need more strippers between the rounds. Let's just hope we don't one day miss the "Gary Shaw" years of Elite XC. But overall I think this will probabbly be good for Elite.
