What Camp Would You Want To Be In?
Hey guys,
I am just curious, if you were training for an MMA competition, what camp would you want to be in the most and for what reasons?
If I were training for an MMA bout I would probally want to be in XTREME Couture, mainly because of the success his fighters have already shown in the octagon since the opening of his camp. XTREME Couture has given Forrest Griffin the Light Heavyweight Championship in his recent victory over Quinton Rampage Jackson.
My second choice for a camp would have to be Greg Jackson's camp out of Albuquerque, New Mexico. He has done wonders with his camp and his fighters and I think he is a great coach and a mastermind to the world of MMA. A perfect example of Greg Jackson's success can be seen in the dominating Welterweight Champion Georges St Pierre.
And my third choice for a camp if I was training for an MMA bout would have to be AKA (American Kickboxing Academy). They are producing some oustanding Welterweight fighters over there, a few examples of this are Mike Swick, Josh Koscheck, and the #1 Contender, Jon Fitch.
What camps would you guys and gals like to be a part of and why?

Cobra Kais...
Seriously if Chute Box was around locally I would like to submit myself to their gruelling and punishing program. Everyone who comes outta there are nut cases when it comes to fight time.
Black House would be crazy...

Space Camp of course.
I'd say probably Xtreme Couture, then maybe Greg Jackson's.
A couple of years ago I'd have put Miletich up there as well, but I'm not so convinced that they are keeping up with the changes in MMA in last few years.

I completely agree with your statement regarding the Miletich Camp. They were the most dominating camp in the UFC at one point in time, but with the new generation of fighters entering the UFC it just seems like the Miletich Camp cannot train fighters well enough to keep up with the new younger, faster, well rounded competition that is now overtaking the UFC.

Definitely Black House. They have 2 UFC champs on their roster, soon to be 3 (Lyoto).
