Silva's carreer is going great without Dana White.
EliteXC has more that just a few "half decent guys"
look at the mentioned Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva, Nick Diaz,
K.J. Noons, Frank Shamrock, Robbie Lawler, Eddie Alvarez,
Rafael Feijao, Drew Fickett, Conor Huen, Ninja Rua,
Joe Villasenor, and a few more fighters I can list. I'm not sure if EliteXC is bleeding the money that everyone sings about. For being an up and coming organization they do have alot of potential.

The UFC would allow him to fight against some (not all) of the best fighters in the world. Apparently some fighters and fans actually want that.
Or he can stay with Elite XC and make a decent living beating nobodies. If all you want is good money and easy wins that is the right choice.

Ah how foolish of me. Bigfoot is in the heavyweight division. The UFC obviously has the best heavyweights in the world.

LOL, hence my wording of SOME not ALL. Hey, Elite XC HW division is plenty competitive enough anyway with all their top 10 ranked HW's, oh wait, well top 20....hmmm ok, well I'm sure they must have someone in the top 50. The best HW after Silva is probably Ricco Rodriguiz for God's sake.

Which still leaves alot to be desired in your post. Why should Silva go to the UFC?
He no doubt wants a more flexible contract than Dana would ever give him, and more money.
And the UFC does not have the best Heavyweights in the world. Only 2 of them at most. Would you say that Pro Elite only has cans as heavyweights or lesser known fighters??
I'd say lesser known fighters. With a small fighter pay scale and competition the UFC is not looking so hot in the MMA heavy weight catagory.

I already said that I'm aware the UFC HW division is thin but it is stacked compared to Elite XC. Would I say Elite XC has only cans? Yes, I would.
They have one, count 'em, one legitimate HW. Silva, and who is he fighting now? Justin Eilers, who came from the UFC HW division that you think isn't very good, and oh yeah! Guess what? Eilers couldn't cut it in that paper thin UFC HW division (running up an impressive 1-3 record) but he is actually fighting for a TITLE in Elite XC, lol.
If Silva wants anything resembling competition he has to go somewhere else. If he just wants to pummel chimps then he should stay in Elite XC.

I dunno how u can call the HW division in the UFC weak then try to pump up the EliteXC roster . Please tell me whats the point of having less then a dozen fighters spread through out 4 divisions worth a damn if they have no one to fight? Only time Alvarez fights neone worth a damn is in DREAM and Silva as already pointed out has ABSOLUTELY no one to fight oppsed to the UFC which has several fighters at or above his level. On that note who the **** is jake shields gonna fight considering all the entire top 10 of welterweights are in the UFC. I could go on but im sure u get the point. Elitexc is a deadend for the few decent fighters in there and thats that.

EliteXC is owned by Pro Elite which also ownes Cage Rage and KOTC. Also allows fighters to compete elsewhere and crosspromotes with Strikeforce. I can easily see Bigfoot fighting against Brett Rogers, Paul The Headhunter Buentello, Any Cage Rage or KOTC heavyweight fighter. Just because some heavyweights aren't known in the UFC doesn't make them cans okay Dana?

Alvarez? He's supposed to fight the winner of K.J. Noons and Nick Diaz. As far as your 4 division argument, feel free to reference the cross promotional cards that the EliteXC fighters have contended in. And feel free to investigate Pro Elites roster of fighters spread through out it's different orgs. EliteXC is merely the most well known of the bunch. And again, just because UFC fans don't know the EliteXC fighters doesn't make these fighters cans.
Guys don't get upset at a little competition now, it was bound to happen. PHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

LOL! Sounds more like Big Nog and the UFC! Who the hell does Nog have to fight? The upcoming joke match between him and Mir???
Antonio Silva's only challenge at UFC is Big Nog. Being that Big Nog was in Silva's corner last night I don't see them going at it anytime soon. Silva's just fine where he is. He has the option to cross promote with EXC, so he might fight on an Affliction show or two in the future (where the majority of the greatest heavyweights currently reside). It would also be nice to see him on a DREAM card or two.
There is NO point in that man going to the UFC right now. The HW title isn't even available at the moment. The best you can get is the interim title.

UFC is the stuck up bitch of MMA.
They don't have the best fighters in the world. Not anymore.
