Wilson Reis is supposed to be a very good prospect at 145.

I will say though from watching the fight so far he needs to improve his striking.

However atm it's looking good for him because he just got mount.

Wow this is a TERRIBLE fight. The dumb ass announcer says Caraway has great wrestling, the guy looks god awful on the ground, actually they both look pretty bad on the ground.

It wasn't a terrible fight.

It wasn't great but there was some very interesting stuff going on when the fight hit the ground.

I don't know why you think they look bad on the feet to me they both looked pretty good just sometimes 2 good guys on the ground can't tap each other.

That was a SHIT decision too, Caraway did all of the damage, reversed. Reis never once even went for a sub, just take down and L&P, pathetic fight, pathetic decisioin. I thought Caraway looked pretty good on his feet but he made stupid flying knee after stupid flying knee getting taken down almost every time. Reis looked bad on his feet, plain and simple. On the ground they didn't look much better, nobody had a real sub attempt the entire 10 minutes that fight was on the ground, and not much GandP either.

If by L&P you mean a guy trying to pass and advance postion then yeah Reis Lay and prayed.

IDK if you've ever trained BJJ but you have to get position before going for submissions and Caraway did a good job staying out of bad submissions.

They both did good jobs of staying out of sub attempts, but I never even saw either of them work at a sub. Not even a kimura or guillotine. Just unimpressive for me. I suppose it could be they were the two most evenly matched fighters in recent memory.

I was expecting a little more out of Wilson Reis, his standup needs some real work if he wants to fight Kid and Faber.
