He tooled Hughes on the ground like nobody ever has at 79, as well as out-Jitsing Serra (a BJJ instructor!) at UFC 83. C'mon.

Where exactly would Shields be able to hang with G?
Shields won't beat GSP but Shields has a great guard something GSP hasn't faced very often.
In fact the only great guard GSP has been in was BJ's and if I remember correctly he never passed BJ's guard once.
I think GSP would win but it would be a tougher fight for him IMO than any WW in the UFC. Except maybe Alves who would give him different issues.
