Some people just hate in order to have something to do. Anybody who actually watched both shows would have to agree that this one was so much better. I'm not saying anything about EliteXc vs UFC, EliteXc vs Affliction, or anything like that. I'm saying EliteXc vs EliteXc and it was a huge improvement.

Let's just hope Shaw doesn't get too cocky and revert back to the horribleness of the first show. At this point it could still go either way with this organization and what they do with their next show will be make or break imo.

Much better card. Elite XC is improving every card it seems IMO.

I thought this was very impressive Shields and Lawler IMO both looked like top 5 guys in their divison which IMO they are.

Elite XC needs to get some money so they can sign guys like Tito and Some HW's and MW's to face Lawler and Silva.

Now with WW there aren't a lot of FA so Shields is kinda stuck. I think he should fight whoever they can find and keep calling out UFC WW's since he has no other choices.

I believe Fickett got released from his contract since he said he was 2 hurt to fight on the card last night but signed up to fight on July 14th in Canada.

I look around alot at EXC.com and they rearranged the roster of fighters adding about 10 more to their list.
They left Fickett on the roster even though he's been on the rocks with them for over a month. Do you have any solid confirmation and not heresay on his release? Here is a link of the roster. http://www.elitexc.com/fighters

My mistake he is was released from his MFC contract since they got pissed at him as well.

My bad.

I don't know if Elite XC will ever give him a fight again since he messed up title fights with Shields in both June and July.
