Jesse Ventura was at UFC 87, the Camera showed him in the audience and Mike Goldberg acknowledged it. Wonder if he still thinks its all fake?

Of the main card, three of the five fights went to decision. Demian's submission of J-Mac likely just confused The Body(*puffs up his chest* I could last a good five minutes in a "sleeper").

Of all people, it may have been THE SAINT himself that set him straight. Beat The Anvil(Jim Neidhart?) by KO, and did it in under 30 seconds.

Doubtful though. He probably thought that left hook had nothing behind it, and Manny just took a dive. A leg kick KO would have been more convincing.

Of course, a half-decent amateur boxer would destroy any of these guys.

I am actually related to Jesse. Me and my cousin got into a huge argument with him but before 87 the man just swore MMA was fake.

His reasoning, I think, is this:

1) Street fights = 2 minutes MAX
2) UFC/MMA = Street fighters

I think the only way to convince him they are not fixed is to convince him MMA is not street fighting. If someone is too proud, or too ignorant to others being more educated on a subject than he is, then you will not convince him of anything because he wont listen to you.

As you try to explain it to him, the only thoughts that are going through his head are: "Whatever! Whatever! Ive seen street fights! Whatever!! No! NO! There is no way you are smarter than me! No! Steet fights! NO! Im not listening!"
Tough to convince someone like that.
