First I think we all want to see Carano exposed (hey I agree with you JP). Secondly I don't know that I would consider Kimbo a thug. I know plenty of guys who have little back yard brawls, just for fun. I do think that there's not a heavyweight that has a ground game that can't beat Kimbo. I think he's bad for the sport being legitimate in the eyes of the rest of the sporting world. I mean seriously Jake Shields could make Kimbo tap in three minutes. And before everyone says Kimbos too powerful, lets do a little mma SAT analogy. Royce Gracie is Kimo as Jake Shields is to Kimbo.

I don't think Kimbo tried to stop anyone from hyping his backyard brawling up like it was some kind of accomplishment, so yeah... He deserves a large portion of the blame.

Unless you're trying to liken Kimbo to a child or a retarded person being taken advantage of, than he is at least equally to blame for his extremely overrated hype train.

Hence Kimbo is as much or even more to blame for his highly touted personna as the people he works for. As he is the one that supplied the personna to begin with.

I seriously doubt kimbo thought he was going to blow up like he did.I also doubt his initial intent was to be in MMA. He was already getting "bread"(nothing compared to now) and his goons decided to film it and post it on youtube. After such a huge response is when greedy minds decided to market him. I know I wouldnt decline if someone wanted to pay me thousands to fight. I can't recall Kimbo ever saying he was the baddest man in the world or the greatest MMA HW...youtube kiddies did

In an interview he called out Chuck Liddell. He has said that he won't back down from anybody and will fight anybody. Even though his opponents can barely be called real mixed martial artists. Look it's not completely his fault. Elite XC management has over-hyped him to a ridiculous nature. Gary Shaw's son, I forget his name, said Kimbo was in the top 10 of heavyweight strikers. He does deserve a lot of the hate he gets because of things he said, but I have to be honest I'd take the money too.
