Tara LaRosa talks about Cyborg and Gina Carano.
On Cyborg and her win over Baszler...
"Yeah, Cyborg hits hard, she punches very straight and she is aggressive. I still kind of want to see more of her ground, but yeah, she was pretty good."
"I know she’s pretty good at that, but from my personal opinion, I’m not really big on leg locks in MMA because if you screw them up, you will lose position. Personally, I don’t believe in going for them. It’s a very high risk with low reward. I was very surprised and impressed that Cyborg made weight. Once they got into the cage, she looked like a whole ‘nother human being."
On Gina Carano...
"We’re cool! We’ve been cool. We’ve been cool for awhile. All of us had a great time. It was Me, Gina, Shayna, Elaina Maxwell and Tonya Evinger and we were all hanging out; it was great. We had a ball. That stuff about us not being cool was all made up on some forum. We’re cool; we’re all cool. I’m friends with everybody."
On what she's been up to...
"I just did NAGA (North American Grappling Association)-The Battle at the Beach. I won the women’s division and I lost my first men’s match, but it was on points. I didn’t get submitted. I’m getting back to the grappling circuit to keep myself active."
On her next fight...
"I’m fighting again November 1st."
She talks about other stuff like her training and Affliction in the full interview:
