This fight will most likely never happen but if it did, I think Shogun is the more complete and athletic fighter and has more weapons in his arsenal than Wandy. I think Shogun would probably win by decision in a close fight because he is the better grappler outta the two of them

Wanderlei fights fight fierce agression. He makes himself hate him opponent in order to achieve that state of mind. Thats why I think Shogun is a better fighter when they spar...

I agree that it would go to a decision and if I had to put money on the fight I'd go with Rua.

Why do you say this fight may never happen? Is it b/c of their friendship?

yea they are very close, wandy is like a mentor to shogun ,and noone in chute box is allowed to fight each other

Wanderlei Silva by Decision. I think both of them would be very cautious and afraid to strike each other since they're amazing friends and also train together in Chute Box.

u never know what could happen... werent ortiz and liddell friends as well? but Brazilians have a better sense of loyalty i guess towards each other...

If they do fight, u can rule out the fact that they will be friends, because else they wont fight... so i expect both fighters to just stand up and strike each other until one falls..

i would give it to silva, because i dont beleive shogun's ability on the ground will be a factor, and silva's striking power is better... but shogun's striking techniques seems a little better so it would be hard to say.
