He was about 150 pounds soaking wet, yet he was the first Gracie to show balls and fight Sakuraba. While Rickson ran from Saku, Royler was all "Yeah, I'll fight this bigger dude." Sure, he lost, but damn, dude should get props.

Also, he faced studs like Sudo and Kid later in his career. He got demolished, horribly, but at least he stepped up and faced these guys late in his career. Plus, we got that awesome visual of Genki bowing to the corpse of Royler.

So yeah, Royler's a manly man, and deserves more respect. He is the anti-Rickson Gracie.

Royler is a tough guy sure he's can be a prick just like the rest of the Gracie's but he's a brave guy.

Ryan (RIP) was awesome. Too bad his life was so messed up though...

Royler Gracie is very courageous and a lot of the guys he feaced were either bigger than him or better at MMA (or both). I mean that takes some balls.

No Damone he deserves props for being an asshole who indangered other people a lot.

The guy was amazingly talented and I'm sad that he died because I'm sad when anyone dies but IDK why I shold respect him.

**** that. I dont care what any one says I will tell it the way it is. Ryan lived as he died, like a scum bag. Curled up in a ball in the corner of a prison cell. Thats pretty much how every one in the family knew it was going to happen. I appreciate the loss for his family but the guy was a scum bag.

He would pick fights with people in clubs then use his families name to get him out of trouble. He would be involved with drug dealers and the shaddiest people out there. Would sell out a freind in a heart beat if it was in his interest.

I know so many people that have been screwed over by that dirt bag. He would attempt to get with his freinds/ training partners gfs/wives. Etc etc. The world is a better place with out him.
