Ninja vs Villasenor as a mainevent? I don't think that would do well at all.

Also I believe they were having trouble putting that fight together as well.

Might not work. Ninja performed very well on CBS so I wouldn't doubt it if they have him slated for the October CBS show so that the fans remember him.

I think it could do good at the gate if it is in Albuquerque since Joey is from there but on TV I don't know if it would do well like you said.

First Shaw "steps down", then they start canceling shows. Make no mistake about it, Elite XC is in trouble. If they don't do good numbers on CBS in October, they could lose the TV deal. If that were to happen they would have to announce bankruptcy within a month. As far as everyone saying it's too many shows, the UFC always pulls off at least that many show in that amount of time.

If EXC goes out of business I wonder where some of the fighter will go?

Nick Diaz will probably go to DREAM since there rules suits him alot better then UFC and EXC rules! I can also see Kimbo Slice following him. Japanese will definitly get a kick out of Kimbo.

Frank Shamrock will probably go to AFFLICTION. Imagine him and Donald Trump conducting business with each other. I actually see Robbie Lawler going to AFFLICTION to fight Matt Lindland.

Cung LE mentioned he wanted to do three fights in the UFC so we'll probably see him there. Jake Sheilds expressed some interest in fighting GSP so he'll probably go there to.

Kimbo is a product of the American media and stupid American teenagers.

No respectable organization is signing on Kimbo.

What are you talking about? If there is money to be made they'll pick him up. Why do you think the UFC picked up Brock Lesner, a beginner who had one win to his name. The UFC picked him up because he was a product of stupid American teenagers who watched the WWE all the time. Dana wanted those stupid teenagers (who are in great multitudes) to watch the UFC.

Kimbo is also a very popular figure. Most of EXC success was because of Kimbo's Youtube popularity. These RESPECTABLE organizations will probably pick him up for the same reasons the UFC picked up Brock Lesner.

the difference is Lesner is a Champion amature wrestler and a physical specimen. Not a beginner at all.

Kimbo has been trying to break into UFC for a long time. If they wanted him they'd already have him.

Dude, being a good wrestler doesn't automatically make you an expert MMA fighter. Brock still has a lot to learn in this game so there for he is a beginner.

However it gives you a strong base to work from, just as being a great BJJ practitioner does. Kimbo doesn't even have a good striking background. I do think you're right. I think if Elite XC goes under the UFC picks him up and feeds him to Lesnar, then Velasquez, and finally a low level fighter like O'brien. Then Kimbo disappears into obscurity. I think Shields, Alavarez, and possibly Le (even though he is with Strikeforce) will go to the UFC. Bigfoot Silva probably will go to Affliction. I think Lawler fights in Affiction once against Lindland, and then goes back to the UFC.
