Wtf Kj
whats wrong with this guy? quit hiding and defend your belt like the champion you SHOULD be. i first saw an article yesterday about how his camp isnt getting back to elitexc to accept or deny a fight with diaz, i expected there to be some kind of thread on it here by now tho. now i see they've issued kj's camp a 24 hour deadline to accept the fight.....i REALLY hope he does. imo he looks like a scared baby, not accepting the rematch. if he's so confident that diaz doesnt deserve it, and that he'll do the same thing he did in the first fight, then he's got nothing to lose!! take the fight, beat diaz' ass on national tv and you'll never have to hear from him again.
true champions welcome all comers, and diaz has won 3 fights via tko since his controversial stoppage againts noons, imo he more than deserves the shot. i just think kj is scared. and its frustrating because i really really wanna see this fight!

Yeah I've been following this story too and I am surprised by the zero response from Noons and his camp/managers. I did read somewhere that he doesn't have the best management team- but if he refuses this fight he's going to look very bad.
We'll see if he responds before the deadline and takes the fight.

I've always thought it was the cut.
Diaz would've defeated Noons IMO. And he still can. Nick is a menace in the cage and K.J. doesn't want to go at it with him.

yeah apparently its the same management that brandon vera had when he missed a year with the ufc. at the same time tho, his manager won the arbitration hearing that brandon filed against him... so who knows what the full story is.

While I am shocked Noons hasn't made any contact with EXC on this fight, I really disagree with you on Diaz taking KJ in that fight. KJ was on, his stuffed Diaz a number of times on the take down and the only thing Nick was blocking was KJ's fists with his face. Even when Nick took him down KJ got right back up. I didn't see that fight changing one bit, and see it the same way again I just can't believe KJ hasn't accepted this fight yet.

You know the funny thing is, Diaz always gets stuffed. His Takedowns need serious help. He struggled taking down Corbrey and Denny also.
Diaz can absorb punishment, alot of it. His punches don't look heavy, but he wears fighters down with them. I really think he'd beat Noons the second time around. On a good note. If K.J. doesn't defend the belt will be vacated and the top two guys aiming at it right now are Alvarez and Diaz.
Imagine that fight.

Alvarez vs. Diaz would be a sick f'in fight. But I'm really pushing for Eddie to chase after Hansen, I really think that belt should be a round Eddie's waste, not Hansen's. Sorry Norway1.

The first fight was complete. It had everything. The rematch would be fireworks. I'd love to see that one.

Yeah this is garbage if he refuses to take the fight. I would hope if thats the case they strip him of the title. Diaz deserves to fight for the title and I hope he wins it one way or the other.

And my dislike for Noons grows even more, which I wasn't sure was possible.
